Lindsey did a post on these guys a few months ago on a
really cool song of theirs called “Slumber” and until then id never really
heard much of their work. Well, I heard this song “Keep Your Eyes Open” for the
first time about a week ago on satellite radio and instantly fell in love with
it. The song starts off with strong keys, heavy percussions and powerful
guitars, which immediately grabs your attention as soon as you hear it. The
rest of the song carries on with that heavy rock feel and lead singer Bear Rinehart’s
gritty vocals are just the right match for it. He brings a soul and depth
to the song that really sends it over the top (in a good way)… I’ve watched
them perform this live and it’s just as good, if not better than, the studio
version. So along with keeping your eyes open, keep your EARS open and give
this song a listen.
